Blackberry has unveiled another Android smartphone, DTEK 50. The smartphone will feature BlackBerry’s DTEK security application which automatically monitors OS and apps and informs when privacy could be at risk and gi e you details on how to improve it. This is the company’s second Android smartphone the company has.
DTEK 50 features a 5.2inch scratch resistant display, is 7.4mm slim and runs on Qualcomm 617 octa-core processor along with 3GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage and support for expandable memory of up to 2TB. The smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow and packs in a 2610 mAh battery. DTEK50 boasts a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front flash camera.
The device will be available for pre-order in select international markets and will be available August 8. DTEK 50 is priced at $299 (approx Rs 20,000) in the US market.
