According to their report, the hack took place on July 10th 2016 and it was estimated that close to 2 million usernames and passwords were stolen.
Dota2 official forums was hacked on July 10th, 2016 (http://dev.dota2.com). This data set contains 1,923,972 records. Each record contains an email address, ip address, username, user identifier, and one password.
The report also lists the providers of the email addresses that have been stolen. Google’s gmail was on the number one spot followed by Hotmail and then Yahoo in third. Here’s a list provided by Leaked Source;
