Google Allo is the latest voice messaging app coming from the Mountain View company. It was announced that it would come with their video calling app ‘Duo’ at the Google I/O earlier. Although Duo had already been launched earlier this week and now available on the Google play store and Apple’s app store, Allo is yet to be launched. But it does seem like some individuals at Android police have gotten their hands on a pre-release version and they have showed off some of the stickers that will be found it the app when it eventually comes out officially.
This voice messaging app will allow one send a voice note just like a voice mail to someone quickly without having to call them. Its mode of operation is one which would be found to actually be quite familiar especially if one is used to sending voice notes on Whatsapp. Once the microphone is tapped and held on the right hand side of the compose screen, the message to be sent is recorded and when it is let go, the message gets sent automatically or one could just slide across the bottom to cancel.
The service would be easy for users to learn how to manipulate, and just as one would expect from Google with Allo, it would be a bit more modern and clean compared to Whatsapp.
Now concerning when it will be released, no one knows the exact time but some people think it is delayed by Google Assistant just like it did two Nexus devices which were supposed to have dropped earlier with Nougat. Since Google Assistant would be involved with Allo and other subsequent products from Google, they can tarry and fix whatever needs to be fixing, yea?

Google Assistant is an intelligent personal assistant developed by Google. It is considered an extension or cousin of Google Now and is currently in the smart voice-enabled wireless speaker Google Home, the new Android Wear watches, and the Allo and Duo apps.
It was announced at the Google I/O developer showcase on May 2016, and unlike its cousin, can engage in two-way conversations.
