Apple Debuts More Battery Power

Smart-Battery-Case

The Smart Battery Case, as Apple has dubbed it, is engineered to extend the battery life of the iPhone 6 or 6s. It’ll cost $99, and it starts hitting the shelves this morning.

According to Apple, the Smart Battery Case increases the 6s’ battery life up to 25 hours of talk time, 20 hours of HD video playback, or 18 hours of LTE web browsing. On its own, meanwhile, the 6s is rated for around 14 hours of talk, 11 hours of HD video, and 10 hours of LTE browsing. So that’s an improvement of right around 80% across the board.
