Netflix’s app now supports 3D touch


Netflix’s updated app for iPhone and iPad now supports 3D touch peek and pop on the iPhone 6s (providing more information about movies and television shows from the main browsing screen), and has also added a layout optimized for iPad Pro for an improved look that offers more content at a glance.

Here are the new features of the updated app, Netflix 8.0:

  • 3D Touch support
  • Performance improvements
  • Arabic support for devices running iOS 9 and later
  • Improved Kids experience on iPad
  • Post-Play experience (episode auto-play/recommendations) now on iPhone
  • iPad Pro optimized layout
