Free PlayStation plus games for August 2016 confirmed

Sony has just announced the free games that will be available for PlayStation Plus members in the coming months. Sony says that this month it’s looking to satisfy the inner space pirate of PlayStation Plus members.

We’re happy to share the free PS4 games for PS Plus members this August! This month we look to satisfy your inner space pirate, and let you battle it out with friends in a frenzied tower builder.

The games announced are Rebel Galaxy and Tricky Towers, both are available free for PlayStation 4 to PS Plus members. On PS3 you get Yakuza 5, Retro/Grade and Ultratron for free. Next month PS Plus members with the PS Vita will get Patapon 3 and Ultratron for free.

Rebel Galaxy is a space combat RPG, here players can build their reputation by working as a mercenary or pirate. Expect a a universe where no two stars are the same.

Tricky Towers is a physics-based puzzler that features local and online multiplayer for two and four players respectively. In this game, players race to stack their tower while they cast spells to disrupt their opponents.

It competes with Microsoft’s Xbox One, as part of the eighth generation of video game consoles.
