Sony, during the annual Game Developers Conference (GDC) announced the price and release date of the PlayStation VR. The device will be made available on October 2016 and will be sold for $ 399, €399, £349 and 44,980 yen. Pre-Orders are now available for the Sony PlayStation VR, it is cheaper compared to the HTC Vive which goes for $799 and the Oculus Rift $699 respectively.
You can preorder the PS VR at Amazon, although it shows “currently unavailable” it will made available soon. Also in the UK, and the US, Gamestop is offering up the PlayStation VR at £349, although it isn’t listed on their US site, you can find it on their UK site. In the UK, you can pre-order PS VR at Game for £100 down payment. Game offers up to 28,000 reward points for purchasing the PlayStation VR. The PlayStation Camera also goes for $100, you will be needing it if you want the full experience of PlayStation VR.

Virtual reality (VR) can be referred to as immersive multimedia or computer-simulated reality, VR creates or replicates an immersive environment similar to the real world in order to create a lifelike experience, allowing the user to interact with that world. Virtual realities artificially create sensory experience, which can include sight, touch, hearing, and smell.
PlayStation VR previously known by the codename Project Morpheus, is an upcoming virtual reality head-mounted display produced by Sony Computer Entertainment. It is designed to be fully functional with the PlayStation 4 video game system. The PlayStation VR is scheduled to launch in October 2016.
