Quite a lot has been happening recently following the development of the tactical shooter game Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, from a post earlier we mentioned that the beta version of the game was scheduled to be released earlier, but due to technical difficulties with matchmaking times and disconnection on all platforms, Ubisoft decided to postpone the Open Beta and kept the game under Closed Beta status. In an update in the Ubisoft forums, Ubisoft confirmed that the open beta would start at 12pm EST.
We want to thank everyone who is participating in this beta. Your feedback helps us improve. For everyone who hasn’t been able to play as yet, we apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience and understanding.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE BETA
The beta runs on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from November 25 to November 29 and ends few days before the scheduled release date, also Ubisoft confirmed that your progression, inventory and Ranked gameplay during the Open Beta will not carry over into the final game. The beta – which will be “focused primarily on testing matchmaking and online infrastructure” – will only feature “a limited scope of the game’s content”, but will offer a glimpse of three maps (Kanal, Hereford and House), 14 operators, and a new Terrorist Hunt mode.
Rainbow Six Siege is now set to launch on Dec. 1 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. just got one thing to say, as long as the game works as intended, take your time Ubisoft!!
