Followed by its announcement at the Galaxy unpacked event earlier this month Samsung has officially unveiled the Gear S2 smartwatch. Samsung will be offering two different variants: Gear S2, and the Gear S2 Classic. One look at the Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch and you will notice that the Samsung Gear S2 is a massive improvement over last year’s Samsung Gear S.
The gear S2 made a good first impression with its unique sleek design and stainless body, on your wrist one would know this is no ordinary wrist watch. Also giving a new look to your smartwatch isn’t a problem, Samsung made sure of that by making customization easy, you could customize the display and change the band easily.The good news about the Gear S2 is that you won’t need a Samsung device to use it, all you need is a phone with Android 4.4 or higher that has at least 1.5 gb of RAM. Powered by Tizen OS, a 1Gz dual core with a 300mAh battery, Samsung stated that on full charge the device would be powered for 2 to 3 days.
