Have you noticed that Google loads a Chromebook up with lots and lots of amazing wallpapers, but not so much on its Android devices? Well that was before the drop of Pixel and Pixel XL.
The Pixel and Pixel XL came with an amazing “Wallpapers app” with the same variety and quality as that you see on the Chromebook, and now it’s available for all Android devices from the Google Play store. In it, images are offered in five categories like; Landscapes, Earth, Life, Cityscapes and textures. And you know what’s mind-blowing? Each category has more images than one maybe willing to count, you can of course access the wallpapers of your device, even your pictures also in the app.
More information on a particular shot can be seen when the “explore” button is tapped, like the artist and location, tapping will redirect you or bring you to the shot on Google+ or the 500px photo-sharing community.
This app is not the type that changes the way you use phone, it just makes it more pleasant to behold, and the good thing is, Google says that it’ll continue to add images as time goes on. So what are you waiting for? Go to Google play store to get yours.
