There wont be an Xbox One and half says Xbox Head

Several rumors have pointed out to Sony building an enhanced PlayStation 4 system with improved graphic capabilities, some others suggested that Microsoft might also be working on a similar pattern but the reverse seems to be the case. Speaking at a press conference, Phil Spencer, Xbox head, was asked if he thought Microsoft would act in a similar way to Sony if the PlayStation 4.5 becomes a reality, Spencer says he doesn’t have any idea regarding whether the enhanced console is in production or not, but if that is the case, Microsoft isn’t following suit.

I’m not a big fan of Xbox One and a half. If we’re going to move forward, I want to move forward in big numbers. For us, our box is doing well. It performs, it’s reliable, the servers are doing well

He also went on further; “If we’re going to go forward with anything, I want it to be a really substantial change for people–an upgrade.”

So far rumors of an enhanced PlayStation 4 had surfaced following a report from kotaku, days later Eurogamer confirmed the report, stating that Sony’s R&D labs have a prototype of the PlayStation 4.5, a console with enhanced capabilities running 4 times the resolution of the average PlayStation 4 system. The report stated that Sony had met with developers during the conference to discuss about the console.

Not long after the rumor surfaced, a video uploaded by Rooster Teeth’s The Know spoke of the possible release date and the price which will go for $400. As with all rumors, lets keep our fingers crossed.
