PlayStation 4 Slim – Price and specifications


During the Playstation Meeting conference, Sony officially announced the PS4 Slim. Sony’s new console will be available this month on September 15 for $299 (€ 299). Sony has shared the specifications of the newly announced PS4 Slim.

The new PlayStation 4 Slim comes packed with new features, it is more energy efficient, compared to it’s predecessor, the power consumption has been cut by more than 34% and 28% . The internal architecture has also been revamped, reducing its volume by more than 30% compared to the previous models and reducing its weight by 25% and 16%. It’s new design has the fore-side and backside of its body slightly angled with trimmed and curved corners. The features and design is expected to appeal to a wider range of audience.
