Samsung Gear S2 classic will be available for pre-order Feb. 23 at Verizon


Verizon has announced that customers can pre-order the Samsung Gear S2 classic, the latest connected smartwatch from Samsung, starting Feb. 23rd. The watch goes for $399 full retail or $349 on a new two-year contract. If already you have a service agreement with Verizon, you’ll be able to add the Gear S2 classic’s connection to your Verizon account for just $5 per month.

As earlier said, the Gear S2 classic features network connectivity (3G/4G), a 1.2″ 360 x 360 circular AMOLED touchscreen display, 4GB storage, 512MB RAM, a 300mAh Li-ion battery with wireless charging capabilities, runs on Tizen OS and is backed by a 1GHz dual core processor. It also has several straps you could choose from to customized its look.

Samsung, founded by Lee Byung-chul in 1938, is a South Korean multinational conglomerate company headquartered in Samsung Town, Seoul. Samsung diversified into areas including food processing, textiles, insurance, securities and retail. Samsung entered the electronics industry in the late 1960s and the construction and shipbuilding industries in the mid-1970s.
