Recent tweets from Dr. Serkan Toto, CEO of Tokyo-based games industry consultancy Kantan Games, has made us to believe that Resident Evil 7 might be revealed at E3.
He also explains that its a “clean slate” that takes the series back to its “horror roots” (not certain what that means yet) and finishes with info that Capcom hired Jordan Amaro to help with the design of the game. Amaro had worked on Metal Gear Solid V while at Kojima Productions.
2) They will show it at E3. The RE7 team hired Jordan Amaro, a designer who previously worked on MGS V and P. T. at Kojima Productions. /end

E3 2016 is just few weeks away, soon we will find out.
The Electronic Entertainment Expo, commonly known as E3, is an annual trade fair for the video game industry presented by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA). It is used by many video game publishers and accessory manufacturers to introduce and advertise upcoming games and game-related merchandise. Unlike Gamescom and other video-game trade fairs open to the public, E3 is an industry-only event; individuals who wish to attend are required by the ESA to verify a professional connection to the video-game industry. E3 is usually held in late May or early June at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) in Los Angeles. Their recent event was held from June 16-18, 2015.
