The $800 iPhone 8 Plus has $290 worth of components in it

The analytics company IHS Markit issued its annual teardown of iPhone production costs, surprisingly, according to it’s report, the making of the iPhone 8 Plus with 32GB more memory, a more powerful processor, wireless charging and a slightly improved camera costs about $17 more than the 7 Plus to make.

Perhaps the Chinese noticed this earlier, following a report from Hangzhou, China just 2 people were waiting in line for the latest iPhone (8) from Tim Cook.

Cook Appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Tuesday, to talk about Dreamers and the Trump administrations recent discussions with Democrats to try to organize legislation to protect young immigrants, He faced questions from the audience about other topics, including iPhone X. “I understand inflation, etc” one viewer asked, “but don’t you find the price tag for the iPhone X out of reach for the average American?” Cook explained: “Well, it’s a value price actually for the technology that you’re getting.” That may not be the case for the iPhone 8, since it’s specs are not too different from the iPhone 7s.

Quite a number of people will prefer the iPhone X to the iPhone 8, this alone will have a negative impact on the sales of the iPhone 8, also considering the fact that the iPhone 8 is basically just like the iPhone 7s, but with minimal upgrades.

Will you be buying the iPhone 8 or X, let us know in comments 😉
