YouTube Tests New Dark Mode for Mobile iOS App

According to reports, it seems YouTube is planning to add a new dark theme for its official iOS app.

It was revealed just yesterday night by some Reddit users, that a new dark mode was live already as an option in the Settings section of the app. You would see it if you are using the 13.01.4 version, if not, you need to update your app first.

As of this morning however, it appeared that only a limited users had gotten this feature, suggesting a selective server-side activation on Youtube’s end.

The notes released for the new version of YouTube by App Store, did not mention the dark mode addition, maybe it’s a surprise who doesn’t love surprises?
If this rollout increases its pace, we’d let you know.
